OLYMPIAD
  • Primary School
    Grades 1–2 and 3-4
    10:00-11:00
    Duration: 60 minutes

    A series of tasks showcasing the diversity and beauty of mathematics. The problems combine abstract concepts with physical activities such as drawing, cutting, and assembling constructions. Participants develop sensory perception, spatial imagination, and logical thinking.
  • Middle School
    Grades 5–6 and 7–9
    10:00-11:20
    Duration: 80 minutes

    A set of exercises designed to foster creativity, explore original solutions, and tackle elegant problems with concise answers. These activities help nurture a creative approach and the ability to think outside the box.


  • High School
    Grades 10–12
    11:00 – 12:00
    Duration: 60 minutes

    Tasks inspired by real interview scenarios from international companies. They require analytical thinking, attention to detail, and data processing skills. The challenges help develop logical reasoning and enhance the ability to draw accurate conclusions.
Interactive Play Zone – Mathematics You’ll Want to Play!
In this interactive space, students and their parents will solve puzzles and brain-teasers, turning mathematics into an engaging and accessible science. It’s a place where children might find the answer faster than adults!

How Does It Work?
Each station is a mini-world featuring active and tabletop games, as well as challenges for the whole family. The playful format makes learning mathematics easy and enjoyable, while developing logic, focus, and creativity.

  • Yuriy Podkopaev

    Expertise:


    • Teacher of mathematics and computer science with extensive experience in both school and university environments
    • Has worked as a teacher, deputy principal, and head of upper school, taking part in developing educational programs
    • Methodologist and author of materials in geometry and computer science for major digital platforms
    • Active participant in supplementary education projects, focused on developing mathematical thinking in teenagers

  • Anna Balabanova

    • Works within the “Fractal” club system, oversees the development of the platform and educational programs
    • Specializes in early involvement in olympiad mathematics and building individual learning trajectories

GALLERY
International MathFest 2025 brought together over 300 guests, uniting students, parents, and leading experts in the field of mathematics. The festival featured a Math Olympiad with 150 participants from 25 schools across Cyprus, as well as lectures and interactive activities for the whole family.

The next International MathFest will take place on February 7, 2026.

Participation in the Olympiad for each child is €20.

Advance payment guarantees a spot at the festival. This includes your child’s participation in the Olympiad and free access for parents to the practical seminar.

Attendance at the seminar is free of charge.
