Interactive Play Zone – Mathematics You’ll Want to Play!
In this interactive space, students and their parents will solve puzzles and brain-teasers, turning mathematics into an engaging and accessible science. It’s a place where children might find the answer faster than adults!

How Does It Work?
Each station is a mini-world featuring active and tabletop games, as well as challenges for the whole family. The playful format makes learning mathematics easy and enjoyable, while developing logic, focus, and creativity.

  • Foster a child’s curiosity and love for learning.
  • Build teamwork and collaborative skills.

    Expertise:


    • Leader of mathematics clubs and author of educational programs
    • Organizer of the English-language JetBrains Youth Math Club, which develops interest in modern mathematics and IT
    • Long-time teacher of olympiad mathematics, co-author of problems for major school and regional competitions
    • Experienced in working with advanced learning groups and preparing students for in-depth study of mathematics

    • Effective online resources for independent study of mathematics in middle and high school: what truly works and how to build systematic learning.
  • Yuriy Podkopaev

    Expertise:


    • Teacher of mathematics and computer science with extensive experience in both school and university environments
    • Has worked as a teacher, deputy principal, and head of upper school, taking part in developing educational programs
    • Methodologist and author of materials in geometry and computer science for major digital platforms
    • Active participant in supplementary education projects, focused on developing mathematical thinking in teenagers

  • Anna Balabanova

    Expertise:


    • Teacher of mathematics and physics, graduate of specialized faculties

GALLERY
International MathFest 2025 brought together over 300 guests, uniting students, parents, and leading experts in the field of mathematics. The festival featured a Math Olympiad with 150 participants from 25 schools across Cyprus, as well as lectures and interactive activities for the whole family.

The next International MathFest will take place on February 7, 2026.

Participation in the Olympiad for each child is €20.

Advance payment guarantees a spot at the festival. This includes your child’s participation in the Olympiad and free access for parents to the practical seminar.

Attendance at the seminar is free of charge.
